Thank you for your report. I wasn't able to replicate the issue across the VPN's I use to test those IP bans through. If it remains a problem, please update.

I tried with another VPN provider and that works so not a general issue.

To give hosts/users an opportunity to re-configure their sites/accounts, should there be a probation (or "purgatory") category?

The host remains banned until they remove the anti ad block mechanism entirely.

Allowing users to choose for themselves was a poor choice. Obviously we are not going to check links from every single user using a certain file host to ensure compliancy with our acceptable use policy. We pick a number of random links and check those.

You don't need to be a terminator if someone gives options you don't like. You don't need to check each link. You can BAN user/poster on your forum if they get reported of using adblock option.
On the other hand i think you only want uplaoders to use mostly those filehostings which gives webmaster % earnings.
There are still many sites are allowed which even blocking proxies/VPN like filejocker & found others too. but you allowed them because they give you (Up to 15% additional commission for website owners.)
If you can think of earning then why shouldn't blocking adblock user would be allowed to get earning for uploader's work?
Anyway all good free hosts are banned on your service. Very nice management of you.

The webmaster commission? Dude please. It is less than $100/m for filejoker. They can confirm and you can refer to my reply here if they say they do not disclose that information. ViperGirls does not exist to generate revenue for its owners. Whatever it makes goes to hosting, studio jobs and app development.

Any non image file host is allowed provided they meet the acceptable use criteria laid out in the first post. Concerning the banning of file hosts banning VPN's, only those file hosts get banned which banned the VPN's I use for checking. This keeps things fair.

Thats the point I tried to make. Sorry to say but you are not the whole world. What about other VPNs / proxies being blocked? How is it fair?
Its OK to set rules for your forums but somethings should be user's/visitor's choice.
If someone don't like to download from some hosts they can go to different site. But blocking good/quality free services is just forcing your choice to others.
Because of your choice everything comes to only hosts like 25-50KB/s free download speed with a lot of restrictions and everybody needs to buy premium.

50kb/s speed limit is also forcing user to buy PREMIUM, isn't it the same like forcing user to disable adblock for 5mb/s speed for free?

Anyway its your site. You can do whatever you wish.

We only permit image hosts without an affiliate program. Image hosts with affiliate programs encourages undesirable behavior such as spamming and multi-accounting. We are unlike most forums primarily a gallery board rather than a link board. They're welcome should their affiliate program stop.

Came across a nitroflare file host to download.

They require a 1 minute 45 second wait time before downloading for free users.



Never downloaded from them before, so its not like it was you've downloaded a lot lately kinda of wait, thats the normal wait time.
